Answers to Your Questions
Simple! The team and I scour for cheap international flight deals all day, every day. When we find a particularly good one, we send it to you.
Every once in awhile I find a super cheap business/first class fare and send it out, but to be honest it’s not common. The vast majority of alerts I send out are for economy fares.
Almost all the alerts I send out to the list are for international flights, since those are the priciest to begin with and therefore have the highest potential for savings. If there’s enough demand, I may expand to domestic flights soon-ish! For USA residents, I occasionally send great fares to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, etc.
Nope. Timing varies with each deal, but most alerts I send out are for travel 2-8 months in the future.
I find better fares to/from more places and make sure you know about them before they disappear. Plus, unlike other sites, I don’t get any commission if you book a flight. As a result, I only send out genuinely good deals.
Soon! We’re working on getting a database up and running showing all the old deals we’ve sent out. We’ll make an announcement to the list when it’s up and running!
Not a simple yes-or-no answer, but I wrote up an explainer here to give you a quick backgrounder on what OTAs are, why they offer lower prices, and what potential drawbacks there are in return for those low prices. Hopefully it’ll help you make an informed choice about where you’re comfortable booking.
Yes. This site is encrypted using a 256-bit secure connection and all payments are processed through Stripe, the same payment processor used by Facebook, BestBuy, NPR, and over 100,000+ other online businesses.
Nah, I hate those email subscriptions that implore you to buy a flight every time the price drops $20 because they get a commission. I don’t receive any commission, so my only interest is helping people find steals.
I search for flights all around the world and send them out as soon as I find a good one. Alas, given the dozens of requests I get each day for help planning a specific trip, I just don’t have enough bandwidth to offer personalized flight consultations. If you want to learn the tricks I use to find cheap flights on your own, I wrote up a quick guide on how to find cheap flights and you can also check out my ebook How To Find Cheap Flights.
If you’d like to pay for a personalized flight consultation, please contact our friends at Flystein and they’ll be happy to help you out.
Yes, your subscription automatically renews based on whichever plan you signed up for. You can cancel at anytime. Quarterly renews every 3 months, semi-annual renews every 6 months, and annual renews every year. As long as you stay a premium subscriber your price will never change, even if we decide to raise the subscription prices. You’ll also have access to whatever features we release in the future.
That depends on how many great deals there are and how many departure airports you want alerts for. Large airports like NYC may receive over 30 deals per month, while just a few cheap flights may pop up for smaller airports. (If you live by a smaller airport, I’d recommend signing up to receive alerts from the closest large airport as well.)
In any case, I promise we’ll only send out exceptionally good fares, rather than spamming your inbox to meet an artificial quota.
It all depends on how many great deals there are and how many regions you’re signed up for. To give you an idea, we send around 2-3 deals per day to just the USA and Canada premium subscribers. We’re also sending deals departing from Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. We only send out exceptionally good fares, though, rather than spamming your inboxes to meet an artificial quota. 1/3 of the deals are sent to the free subscribers and all of the deals are sent to the premium subscribers.
Once you’ve logged into your premium account, click the Departure Cities tab and you can choose which cities you’d like to receive deals from.
Simply pull up the last email I sent you and click the “Click here to update your info” link at the bottom.
The way it works is when you select specific departure cities, you’ll only receive emails that have a cheap flight from at least one of the cities you chose. If a deal doesn’t have one of the airports you selected, and thus isn’t relevant to what you’re looking for, you won’t get it. Most emails have multiple departure cities, but every email you receive will include at least one of the cities you selected.
No. I’ll send out text messages for the very best deals to make sure you don’t miss them. If I send you too many text messages, spam filters will frown on me and may prevent us from chatting anymore.
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. You can do this by clicking on the “Update Billing” tab and then clicking “Cancel Account” at the bottom of the page. We’ll miss you.
Yes, free subscribers can simply click the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email.

Sadly, some carriers will not deliver the texts even after you have confirmed you want to receive them from us. We recommend using a Google Voice number instead, so you can still receive flight alerts on the go!
Please try clearing the cache on your browser or try logging in again with an incognito or private window in your browser. If you’ve already tried this and still cannot log in, please send us an email [email protected]
